The Local Government Board, chaired by Mayor Juan Franco, addressed the main municipal matters for the next four-year period. The meeting served to review the status of key files for the city's development and to establish the guidelines for the general budget for the 2027 fiscal year.
Progress has been highlighted in the implementation of two essential services: Urban Maintenance and horizontal and vertical signage. The mayor announced that the proposal for awarding the new street cleaning contract will be included in the next ordinary plenary session.
Furthermore, updates were provided on the progress of drafting the new parking service contract, which will integrate the management of the tow truck service and the Ciudad Deportiva (Sports City) park-and-ride facility. Planned infrastructure actions were also reviewed, notably a new asphalt plan and other interventions deemed highly relevant for La Línea de la Concepción.
