This cultural initiative is consolidating itself as one of the most attractive proposals on the Cadiz coast, combining history, heritage, and nature in a privileged setting. The tours, led by specialists, provide a more comprehensive view of the site, revealing ancient Roman structures and areas currently under study.
“"The special visits allow access to less-traveled areas of the complex, such as ancient Roman structures or areas under study, offering a more complete vision of the site."
Baelo Claudia, an important Roman city linked to maritime trade and the production of garum, is in an excellent state of preservation. Its location facing the sea, with views of the Strait of Gibraltar, makes it a place of great beauty and historical interest.
Admission to the archaeological site is free for all visitors. No reservation is required for individual visits or small groups, although it is mandatory for groups of more than 10 people. Spring hours (March 21 to June 20) are Tuesday to Saturday from 09:00 to 21:00, and Sundays and holidays from 09:00 to 15:00.
