Collectors and classic toy lovers have a must-attend event marked on their calendars in Algeciras. The María Cristina Park will be the hub for the International Toy and Collectibles Fair 'Ciudad de Algeciras', a free-entry event running continuously from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The initiative aims to establish itself as a space where different generations can share their passion for collectible items.
Throughout the day, attendees can explore numerous stalls showcasing a vast selection of items. From antique toys and vintage pieces to collectible figures and gift items, the fair will offer something for every taste. A highlight will be an exclusive Playmobil diorama, allowing fans to immerse themselves in detailed scenes created with these popular characters. Additionally, the Algeciras Philatelic and Numismatic Group will participate with a stand dedicated to stamp and coin collecting, enriching the event's offerings.
The fair has also planned a full program of activities for families, with a special focus on children. Highlights include children's entertainment with K-Pop warriors at 12:00 PM, a trading card exchange for football, TCG, and One Piece also at 12:00 PM, a mask workshop at 1:30 PM, a slime workshop at 5:30 PM, and a recycled material vase creation workshop for children aged 4 and up at 7:00 PM. Furthermore, a board game exhibition will be available throughout the day for both children and adults to enjoy.
This event not only focuses on leisure and collecting but also incorporates an important charitable component. A collection point for toys and non-perishable food items will be set up, with donations going to the Reyes Magos 98 Association of Algeciras. This organization is dedicated to supporting families in need, adding significant social value to the fair.
