The blaze started at the corner of Rafael de Muro and Emilio Castelar streets, adjacent to the Torroja-Sánchez Arcas market. The dense smoke, visible from various parts of the city, caused concern among residents and local businesses.
As a precautionary measure, residents of the adjoining building were temporarily evacuated due to the smoke accumulation. Firefighters from the Provincial Fire Consortium, along with local and national police officers, responded to the scene to control the flames and secure the area.
