Both the Territorial Delegation of Health and Consumption in Cádiz and the Health Area Directorate have expressed regret over the incident and shown their full support for the affected professional. A protest gathering has been called for this Friday at 12:00 PM outside the health center.
The Andalusia regional government reiterated its commitment to combating this issue, emphasizing that responsibility for such acts lies solely with the perpetrators.
The Ministry of the Presidency, Health, and Emergencies employs various measures within its Prevention and Assistance Plan for Aggressions. These include the role of a guide professional, the establishment of swift channels for victim support, necessary psychological assistance, and training programs for staff to handle violence in healthcare settings.
Furthermore, Andalusia operates the Observatory for Aggressions Against Public Health System Professionals. This advisory body analyzes the phenomenon's trends and enhances preventive and responsive measures against physical or verbal violence.
In Cádiz, a provincial commission works to address aggressions against healthcare professionals. This commission, part of the SAS Prevention and Assistance Plan, involves health officials and representatives from state security forces to advance strategies aimed at reducing such attacks.
