The neighborhood group has expressed deep concern over the Algeciras City Council's inaction, noting that despite submitting various written requests through official channels, they have received no reply within the legal 60-day period.
According to the association, this situation constitutes a breach of current administrative procedure regulations. They also regret that no concrete measures have been implemented in response to their formulated petitions.
“"The commitments made by the City Council during the meeting held in August 2025 have not been fulfilled to date."
The neighborhood entity has recalled previous contacts with the council, including a meeting in August 2025, where commitments were made that, in their opinion, have not materialized. This circumstance exacerbates the perception of inaction by the local administration.
Given this lack of progress, the Don Bosco Neighborhood Association has warned that, within 15 days of receiving their latest letter, dated April 23, they will escalate the matter to the Andalusian Ombudsman and relevant health authorities, seeking appropriate action.
