The initiative, coordinated by the Asturian Rural Development Network (READER) in collaboration with the Association for Rural Development of Andalusia (ARA), will continue until next Thursday. The main goal is to foster the exchange of knowledge regarding rural development management and to analyze shared challenges between both regions.
During the first day, participants visited Montilla to learn about the cooperage sector and wine production, highlighting the role of the La Unión Cooperative. Subsequently, the group traveled to Montalbán de Córdoba to explore the agri-food processing industry, focusing on quality improvement and innovation in the fruit and vegetable sector.
The program also includes a cultural component with tours of the historic center of the provincial capital and the Mezquita-Catedral. In the coming days, the technical agenda will continue with the analysis of cooperation projects and the planning of the rural development framework for the 2028-2034 period.
