During his speech in the Plaza de España in Puente Genil, Abascal referred to the judicial situation of a former secretary of organization of a political party, suggesting that responsibility should extend to other high-ranking officials. He also expressed concern about the power that, in his opinion, certain political figures hold.
The Vox leader also expressed his distrust of the Public Prosecutor's Office, stating that this institution has placed itself «at the service of the Central Government» after a decision related to a businessman involved in a mask case.
“"To oppose equality to national priority is absurd because what we ask is that all Spaniards be equal throughout the national territory, without being discriminated against foreigners who arrive and access, ahead of everyone, social aid and the public housing rental market."
In the context of the upcoming Andalusian regional elections in 2026, Abascal criticized the debate between candidates, noting that one of them seemed to align with the policies of the Prime Minister on issues such as immigration. He called for votes for his candidate, presenting him as the only option to confront what he called «sanchismo» and defend national priority.
Regarding pre-election polls, the president of Vox was skeptical, calling them «stratagems» to influence voting. He stated that the true poll is found «in the streets», defending «common sense».
Finally, Abascal addressed the problem of illegal occupation of institutional buildings, such as the old Guardia Civil barracks in Puente Genil, linking it to an increase in crime and mass regularization policies.
