The white and blue squad took the lead in the 10th minute with a volley from Aitor García. However, after halftime, the team lost presence and allowed the Cordoban side to equalize in the 69th minute, with a goal from Pajuelo.
As the match neared its end, Ale Marín scored the decisive goal in the 88th minute with a shot from outside the box, thus securing the three points for Recreativo.
The home coach, Jesús Galván, acknowledged the need to address defensive fragility and improve game continuity. Nevertheless, he valued his players' reaction after the equalizer and their effort to regain control of the match.
