This initiative, offered since 2017, has seen the participation of 4,040 people in previous editions, with a total of 85 routes provided. The main objective is to highlight and conserve the province's natural environments, encouraging citizens to discover and care for these areas.
The program also incorporates a tourism component, as participating municipalities often organize parallel activities that showcase the heritage, cultural, and gastronomic richness of the localities along the routes. Since 2023, inclusive routes have been included, with ongoing efforts each year to add new adapted routes, thereby enhancing the social aspect of this initiative.
The routes will take place over 16 weekends, spanning autumn and spring, months considered more pleasant for this type of activity. The aim is to revitalize these environmentally significant spaces and promote a more active lifestyle among citizens.
Among the new additions for the 2026-2027 edition are the route of Monte Malagón in Belalcázar, the Dehesa de Quebradillas in Conquista, the Norias del río Genil in Benamejí, and the Ruta del Aceite along the section from Navas del Selpillar-Camino de San Antonio a Campo Real, between Lucena and Puente Genil.
Other included routes are Los Alemanes (San Sebastián de los Ballesteros), Las Veredas (La Guijarrosa), Los Pilares (Fuente Obejuna), Asperillas (La Granjuela), La Campiña (from Fuencubierta to Las Pinedas), and La Dehesilla (Guadalcázar).
The offerings are completed by the routes of Guadiato and Los Pedroches (La Maquinilla section) in Bélmez and Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo; ‘Vinum et Aqua’ in Monturque; El Arca in Castro del Río; Los Barrancos in Fuente Tójar; Los Pozos in Bujalance; and Las Serranas in Villaharta.
