The Center for Historical Studies of Jerez (CEHJ) has launched the fourth edition of its Research Award. The initiative aims to encourage the production of academic works focusing on the history of Jerez de la Frontera and its surrounding area.
All works demonstrating scientific rigor and methodology in their approach to historically relevant topics for the city and its region are eligible to participate in this call. Admission criteria require submissions to be unpublished, not previously published in any tangible format or disseminated in open access, and not to have received awards in other contests.
The deadline for submitting works is next October 9th. The jury's decision will be announced in the first half of 2027, communicated solely to the winner and subsequently disseminated through the CEHJ website and local press.
The main award will consist of a certificate of accreditation and the publication of the winning work, both in printed book format and digitally through the organizing center's website.
