The initiative, to be held at the facilities of the Club Deportivo Hípico La Alamedilla, has a total of 75 available places. These will be distributed across three weekly sessions: from July 6th to 10th, July 13th to 17th, and July 20th to 24th, from Monday to Friday mornings.
The program is designed for participants, aged 6 to 16, to learn about the equestrian world. Activities will include safe approaches to horses, their care, feeding, and grooming, all under the supervision of specialized instructors. Additionally, it will feature complementary workshops such as crafts, horseshoe painting, and braiding.

The mayor, Francisco Carmona, highlighted the educational value of the school, promoting respect and care for animals, responsibility, discipline, and contact with nature. He noted that this initiative is part of Andújar's equestrian tradition, linked to the Purebred Spanish horse and the Anducab competition.
Carmona also announced that this summer school is a preliminary step towards the future Municipal Riding School, for which the council is working on establishing permanent facilities.
Registration will open on June 15th at the Edificio San José, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or by calling 953 50 82 00 (extension 1019). Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and each participant can only sign up for one week. Transportation to the facilities is not included.
