The event, which will run until Sunday, April 19, promises to fill the streets with color, joy, and Andalusian tradition. The official inauguration will take place on Wednesday, April 15, at 9:30 PM with the lighting ceremony. This symbolic moment will be attended by Carlos Javier García, mayor of Grazalema, and Antonio González, mayor of Vejer, along with the Councillor for Festivities, María José Espinosa.
Following the lighting, the Caseta Municipal La Noria will offer an appetizer featuring Toro Embolao meat and a tasting of typical Grazalema cheeses. The evening will conclude with a performance by Nela Callado and her band.
Thursday, April 16, will be dedicated to children and seniors, with activities such as a petanque competition and a fair parade. The program also includes children's shows like Las Guerreras K-Pop and performances by dance schools. On Friday, April 17, Women's Day, the XXXVI Morphological Contest of selected Retinto cattle and the VI Limousin cattle contest will be inaugurated, in addition to offering 'Vino Clarito' tastings and concerts of copla and flamenco.
The weekend will continue with a packed agenda of events. Saturday, April 18, will feature a veterans' football match, ribbon races, and a contest for foals and mares, culminating in musical performances by groups such as Alexia and Los Aguafiestas. The fair will conclude on Sunday, April 19, with the awards ceremony for the livestock contests and various flamenco performances, including Susana Romero and the flamenco group El Cañejo.
