The fire started at Finca El Machorro, near kilometer 24. The rapid spread of the flames, driven by weather conditions, forced the mobilization of firefighters from Medina, Benalup, Chiclana, and Cadiz.
The Civil Guard closed the road to ensure driver safety, while the Cadiz Provincial Fire Consortium deployed five vehicles and eleven personnel. The Infoca device also collaborated in the extinguishing efforts with a specialized brigade.
After bringing the fire under control at 04:30, a surveillance team remained on-site to prevent flare-ups. Simultaneously, another fire was reported in Jerez, where firefighters successfully prevented flames from reaching a house in the Pino Solete area.
