To address this shortage, two local entrepreneurs have launched their respective projects. Salerito, located on Cobos Street, specializes in children's and baby fashion, while Universo Mamá, on Rosa Street, focuses on items and toys for conscious parenting.
The owner of Salerito, which opened its doors on April 1, highlighted the difficulty of finding clothes for her own daughters in Cádiz, which prompted her to create an offer of higher quality garments at affordable prices. The store offers everything from newborn clothing to items for children up to eight years old, including outfits, layettes, and accessories.
For its part, Universo Mamá, inaugurated on March 16, was born from its founder's personal experience during the pandemic. The establishment promotes conscious parenting, offering products that foster development and attachment, such as pacifiers, rattles, board games, and books, all made with safe and non-toxic materials.
