The presidency of the Federation of Cádiz CF Fan Clubs (FPC) will see a change in leadership. Juan Antonio García Rodríguez, known as 'Er Papi', will not continue at the helm of the organization after not submitting a candidacy for the upcoming elections. In his place, Javier López, president of the Toruño Amarillo Fan Club, is set to become the successor.
The candidacy led by López is the only one presented for the occasion, ensuring a smooth transition. The next FPC board of directors will be composed of the Euforia Cadista (Vice-Presidency), El Principiante (Secretariat), Cadistas 1910 (Treasury), and Per Sempre Cádiz, Gasteiz Horia, and Exilio Cadista (Board Members) fan clubs.
Juan Antonio García Rodríguez 'Er Papi' was re-elected president in late 2022, concluding his term. Previously, Fernando Arévalo had held the position, who in turn succeeded Guillermo Baute in 2014. The call for the annual ordinary assembly and the extraordinary assembly for the election of the new FPC president marked the end of this era.

Javier López has expressed enthusiasm for the new challenge, highlighting the support of a team that includes representatives from his club, Toruño Amarillo, and seven other Cádiz CF fan clubs. "I am the visible head, but there are more people supporting me and who are part of this group," he stated.
The new project aims for the FPC to "become useful and open again," with lines of work focused on being close, receptive, and transparent. Among the objectives is the recovery of the 'Supporter Advocate' role to represent the interests of Cádiz CF fans.
López indicated that his candidacy was validated as it was the only one submitted before the deadline. He added that 'Er Papi's' term, which lasted eight years, "has gone from better to worse," considering that the FPC must always serve the Cádiz CF fan club members.
