The Nazareno del Amor brotherhood of Cádiz is celebrating its 75th anniversary with an exhibition at Casa Pemán, the venue of Fundación Cajasol. The exhibition, titled 'A Work of Love. 75th anniversary of the Nazareno del Amor brotherhood', documents the artistic, devotional, and heritage journey of this Franciscan brotherhood of Holy Monday.
The exhibition, open to the public until July 3rd, features over sixty pieces illustrating the brotherhood's evolution from its inception to the present day. Among the items displayed are images, processional items, historical documents, and other significant assets, including details of the new canopy for the Virgen de la Esperanza.
The inaugural event was attended by officials including the delegate of the Junta government in Cádiz, Mercedes Colombo; the delegate of Finance, Inmaculada Oliveron; the councilor for Brotherhoods, José Manuel Verdulla; Jaime Granados Cadenas, the brotherhood's senior brother; and Mar Díez, delegate of Fundación Cajasol in Cádiz.
Through this initiative, Fundación Cajasol reinforces its commitment to promoting and preserving the cultural and religious heritage of Cádiz. The exhibition can be visited at Plaza San Antonio, 14, from Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
