The infrastructure, which connects the capital of Cadiz with Puerto Real, will raise its movable section at two specific times during the day. The first interruption is scheduled for 9:00 AM, coinciding with the ship's departure from the military facilities. Subsequently, traffic will be halted again at 2:15 PM to facilitate the vessel's return maneuver.
These opening operations are necessary to allow the passage of tall vessels that cannot clear the bridge's standard height. While the structure remains raised, traffic is completely interrupted in both directions, which typically causes delays on one of the main access routes to the city.
The Cadiz City Council has advised drivers to plan their trips in advance to avoid unnecessary delays. Coordination between port and military authorities ensures that these maneuvers are carried out safely, minimizing the impact on daily mobility in the Bay of Cadiz.
