The match, named the ‘150 Years Chiclana City’ trophy, marks the reunion of both teams after three years without facing each other and is part of their pre-season preparations. For Chiclana CF, it represents a key test under manager José Manuel Pérez Herrera against a higher-category opponent.
Cádiz CF, managed by Albert Celades, will use the game to continue testing their squad and integrating new signings. Tickets are already available through the Chiclana CF virtual box office and can also be purchased on the day of the match at the stadium's ticket offices.
Chiclana's city title was granted in 1876 by King Alfonso XII. The anniversary is being celebrated with a municipal program featuring heritage, cultural, socioeconomic, recreational, and environmental activities.
The commemorative sports calendar continues on Saturday, August 29th, with the La Barrosa Night Race, scheduled to start at 9:30 PM.
