“"Since its opening, Luz Shopping's purpose has been to become a meeting point connected with the needs of Jerez and the entire province of Cádiz. A space where people can relax, have fun, shop, and play, and which also fosters connection between people and generates a positive impact on the community. And the charity flamenco dress market of the Madre Coraje Foundation, to raise funds for its humanitarian and educational projects, is an example of that vision."

A second-hand flamenco dress market is being held at Luz Shopping, Jerez, from April 24 to May 8, with the aim of raising funds for the humanitarian projects of the Madre Coraje Foundation.
The flamenco fashion season in Jerez kicks off with a proposal that merges tradition, style, and social commitment. The Luz Shopping center, a prominent open-air venue in Andalusia and the only outlet in the Province of Cádiz, is hosting a second-hand flamenco dress market. This initiative, running from April 24 to May 8, is organized in collaboration with the Madre Coraje Foundation.
This event not only promotes the circular economy by giving new life to garments and accessories emblematic of Jerez's culture but also directly contributes to funding humanitarian, educational, and international cooperation projects driven by the Madre Coraje Foundation.
The market is located in Sala Luz, next to Parfois, and its opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The offerings include a wide variety of flamenco items, from dresses for children and adults to shoes, flowers, earrings, and shawls, encouraging more responsible consumption based on reuse and recycling.
Those wishing to collaborate can donate their unused flamenco dresses at the market space itself, thereby extending the garments' useful life and amplifying the initiative's charitable impact. The Madre Coraje Foundation manages 38 stores across Spain, including Andalusia, Madrid, and Navarra, where over 170,000 kilograms of used clothing are reused, generating significant social, economic, and environmental impact.
