The province of Cádiz is consolidating itself as a top culinary destination for cultural personalities. The latest edition of the Repsol Soletes has recognized fourteen establishments in Cádiz, selected by musicians, actors, and writers among others, as their preferred places to enjoy local gastronomy during their holidays.
These accolades are part of a broader initiative where over 60 personalities have awarded more than 250 accolades nationwide. The official presentation of the Celebrity Soletes took place at El Cortijo La Loma, located in La Isleta del Moro, within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. In total, Andalusia boasts 38 Soletes recommended by figures such as Florent de Los Planetas, Antonio Muñoz Molina, and Paz Padilla.
Within the Cadiz coast, specific recommendations include those from Carlos Sobera, who favors La Loma in Chiclana de la Frontera for its sunsets and fish. Additionally, the group Los Nikis suggest the 'pisto con huevo y papas' (a vegetable stew with egg and potatoes) at El Palmar beach in Vejer de la Frontera.
