The current season for Cádiz CF resembles one of the most challenging in recent decades, marked by constant rotation in the dugout. With the departure of one coach and the arrival of another, the club from Cádiz has reached the figure of three managers in a single campaign, a fact that had not occurred for 13 years.
This scenario, involving three professionals leading the team in one season, is a clear indicator of a complicated period. The last time Cádiz CF experienced a similar situation was 13 seasons ago, when there were also several changes in technical direction to avoid relegation to a lower division.
“"It is no coincidence that the current campaign resembles one of the worst in recent years, curiously when the merry-go-round of coaches was once again the usual trend."
On that occasion, the team was on the verge of falling to the fourth national category, a situation which, although in a different context (the Second Division), draws parallels with the threat of relegation the club currently faces. The search for stability in the dugout is a constant effort to avoid another sporting setback.
To find a season with more than three coaches, one would have to go back to the 2007/08 campaign, a year that culminated in relegation to Segunda B and was marked by great instability both sportingly and institutionally.
