The club from Cádiz has confirmed the arrival of a new coach to lead the team through the remainder of the current campaign. This experienced professional, with a notable career as both a player and a manager, takes on the challenge of guiding Cádiz CF.
His coaching career began in 2008, following his retirement as a footballer with over 350 matches in Segunda B. He has managed teams in the third tier of Spanish football, accumulating 243 matches across six different clubs. He also has international experience, notably with AEK Larnaca in Cyprus, where he won the Cypriot Cup in 2018.
Furthermore, the new coach has participated in the Europa League, managing 22 matches in this continental competition. His experience also includes a role as assistant coach at Villarreal CF, where he contributed to winning the Europa League and reaching the semifinals of the Champions League. Subsequently, he managed CD Leganés in Segunda División and achieved promotion with Deportivo de La Coruña.
