The month of June is shaping up to be a period of intense activity for the Port of Cádiz, with 34 cruise ship calls scheduled. This figure positions the sixth month of the year as one of the busiest, surpassed only by months like October, April, and November.
The arrival of the cruise ship 'Aida Stella' at the end of May, carrying approximately 2,400 passengers, predominantly of German nationality, already signaled the trend. With an average of nearly one cruise ship per day, the port of Cadiz continues to enhance its appeal for cruise tourism.
The first day of June will welcome the 'Seven Seas Mariner', a luxury cruise ship operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises, a subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise, with a capacity for 700 passengers. This event marks the beginning of the summer season at the port.
The highest concentration of ships is expected on June 30th, when up to four cruise ships will dock simultaneously. Other days, such as June 9th, 25th, and 26th, will see the arrival of up to three vessels at the same time, which will likely increase the presence of tourists in the city center and its main attractions.
In total, the summer season at the port of Cadiz anticipates 92 calls between June, July (27), and August (31), solidifying the city as a top tourist destination during the peak influx months.
