A spokesperson for the party, who accompanied the workers in their protest in front of the Delegation of Education, stated that the 95% minimum services established by the Andalusian Government is practically equivalent to 100%, thus preventing the effectiveness of the mobilization.
“"Today, with the president of the Junta de Andalucía visiting this city, it is a moment to remember that the reality of our province is what we have here, but above all what we do not have, because today in our province the right to strike is being impeded."
The PTIS demand improvements in their working conditions and compliance with the Inclusion Law, which guarantees the right to education under equal conditions. The spokesperson also criticized the president of the Junta's lack of attention to these issues, comparing it to previous situations such as cuts in school canteens.
The sector of Social Integration Technical Personnel is described as precarious and privatized, with incomplete working hours and salaries that, in many cases, do not reach the interprofessional minimum wage, forcing professionals to travel between centers.
