The third-ranked candidate for Adelante Andalucía in the province of Cádiz has continued their 'Market Route' initiative, designed to establish direct contact with citizens and understand their concerns. The representative emphasized that the party's campaign will focus on interacting with ordinary people, away from more high-profile events.
During their speech, the main focus was on criticizing the public healthcare situation, denouncing the unfulfilled promises by the Popular Party regarding the opening of health centers such as La Dehesilla in Sanlúcar or Mentidero in Cádiz. The veto of a documentary on healthcare was also mentioned, suggesting an attempt to conceal the reality.
“"I have been speaking with a person who has been waiting 15 months for a CT scan to rule out multiple sclerosis. Fifteen months. That is the public healthcare we currently have."
The representative highlighted that this case is not isolated but reflects a widespread problem across Andalucía, where many municipalities depend on subsidized centers or travel to distant hospitals, such as the one in Jerez. This situation, combined with deficient public transport, exacerbates the difficulties in accessing adequate healthcare.
Finally, it was announced that the 'Market Route' will continue in San Fernando, aiming to visit all markets in the province. Housing and public healthcare issues have been identified as the most recurring concerns among citizens.
