The race, part of the Popular Race Circuit, will feature the participation of various authorities, including the city's mayor, José María Román; the chief colonel of the Cádiz Command, Luis Martín; the first vice-president of the Provincial Council of Cádiz, Juan José Ortiz; municipal delegate for Communication, Fede Díaz; president of Agamama, Agustina Castañeda, and representative of Cádiz CF, Pepe Mata.
In addition to the mile and the 7-kilometer race, events will be organized for children's categories, a 5 km solidarity march, and a 'zero bib' option for those who wish to contribute financially without actively participating.
Following the sporting events, a solidarity lunch will be held, open to participants, families, and the entire community, aiming to foster coexistence and a spirit of solidarity.
José María Román detailed that the race will start and finish in the village of Sancti Petri, with a route extending to the roundabout dedicated to the Guardia Civil.
Luis Martín highlighted this year's new features, including the benefit to Agamama and Chiclana being chosen as the venue for the first time, emphasizing the goal of raising awareness about breast cancer and supporting the association.
Juan José Ortiz stressed the importance of the race in promoting healthy lifestyles and its solidarity aspect, calling it an extraordinary event.
Pepe Mata announced the contribution of Cádiz CF, which will include a raffle of donated jerseys and the awarding of tickets for the next Cádiz CF match to the top three finishers.
Agustina Castañeda expressed gratitude for the Guardia Civil's support and shared data on breast cancer incidence, noting that Agamama assisted 247 women in 2025, with an increase in cases among women aged 20 to 50.
