The improvement project for La Almadraba Park, situated in San Fernando, is currently in the bidding phase, with works expected to commence in the coming weeks. The planned investment amounts to 200,000 euros and seeks to transform this public space into a more functional and attractive area for the community.
Key actions include the expansion of the children's play area, repainting of the adjacent sports court, and a reorganization of existing trees, along with the creation of new flowerbeds. These enhancements aim to optimize the park's use by children and young people, as well as beautify the natural surroundings.
One of the most notable additions will be the installation of a pine wood pergola, which will create a much-needed shaded area for park users, especially during warmer months. This initiative intends to make the open space more enjoyable for La Almadraba residents.
In addition to aesthetic and functional improvements, the City Council will proceed with the renovation of all park lighting and supply networks, ensuring greater energy efficiency and safety for visitors. These interventions are part of a broader plan for municipal infrastructure upgrades.
“"The local executive also announced its intention to extend the promenade that runs behind the homes of La Almadraba, reaching up to number 473 on Buen Pastor Avenue."
It is worth noting that the promenade was inaugurated just over a month ago, following an investment of approximately 760,000 euros, establishing itself as an important recreational axis for residents in the area.
