Asphalting works on Pery Junquera Avenue in San Fernando allow for the appreciation of this important road's new layout. The renovation, promoted by the San Fernando City Council, has doubled the number of lanes along its entire length up to the La Casería bridge, thus connecting with one of the main city accesses, La Ardila.
The second phase of this project, with an investment of 1,734,696.69 euros and executed by the company Martín Casillas SLU, focuses on the section between the Tres Culturas roundabout (Al Ándalus Avenue) and Rafael Alberti (access bridge to Bahía Sur).
The City Council has shared images and videos on social media showcasing the progress of the asphalting works and vehicles using the new four lanes. Although the project is not yet complete, painting tasks and the new parking area are expected to be finalized in the coming days.
Mayor Patricia Cavada recently visited the site to oversee the development of the works.
