The Rancho Novo Nature Classroom, located in Novo Sancti Petri, has reopened its doors after an investment exceeding 200,000 euros. The space, promoted by Cuaderno Amarillo, focuses on environmental education, animal contact, and experiences for families and educational centers.

The facilities of the Rancho Novo Nature Classroom, situated in Novo Sancti Petri, have reopened to the public. The deputy mayor and delegate for Women, Mª Ángeles Martínez Rico; the municipal delegate for Contracting, Isabel Butrón; and the municipal delegate for Sustainable Tourism, Manuela Pérez, visited the site accompanied by the head of the facilities, Rafael López.
The project aims to create an environment where nature, education, and leisure coexist, open to schools, families, and visitors. "It is very good news for the people of Chiclana and visitors, because Rancho Novo opens its doors, a nature classroom in the heart of Novo Sancti Petri, where young and old can see farm animals and a vegetable garden," commented Mª Ángeles Martínez Rico, inviting citizens to enjoy the facility and its planned numerous activities.
Martínez Rico highlighted the space's image transformation while maintaining its essence of nature preservation, expressing confidence that it will be a place of enjoyment for all citizens. For his part, Rafael López thanked the Chiclana City Council for the opportunity, noting that the project seeks to raise awareness about caring for nature and animals, and emphasizing Chiclana's business strength beyond its tourism offerings.
Rancho Novo spans 9,000 square meters and includes an activity area for 300 visitors, eight open classrooms, and a hall for exhibitions and cultural activities. The project is structured around three main pillars: education (with environmental workshops, an educational garden, and a Magic Forest), eco-farm (with spaces for various species and animal welfare education), and a restaurant offering family, gastronomic, cultural experiences, and a communal space.
The total investment for the project exceeds 200,000 euros.
