Hotels and aparthotels in Chiclana achieved an occupancy rate of 92.52% in August, data reflecting the strength of the local tourism sector.
Hotel occupancy in Chiclana stood at 92.52% during the past month of August. Five-star establishments recorded 89.14%, while four-star establishments reached an average of 94.19%. Three-star hotels and aparthotels had an 86.46% occupancy, and two-star hotels, 89.52%.
The municipal delegate for Sustainable Tourism, Manuela Pérez, highlighted that this data "confirms the consolidation of the tourist offer in Chiclana". She pointed out that the city continues to be a chosen destination for families, thanks to its beaches and a wide range of offerings including culture, leisure, sports, and gastronomy.
“
"We continue to be the chosen destination for many people, families seeking our beaches, but also that broad offer that our city has generated and continues to generate so that the Chiclana Destination continues to maintain levels of excellence in all aspects."
Pérez also linked these hotel occupancy figures to the reduction in unemployment in the municipality, which ended August with 6,346 unemployed, 1,144 fewer than in August 2025. She emphasized that the hospitality sector in general operated at 100%, both on the beach and in the city center.
The delegate stated that work continues to maintain the upward trend of the tourist season and to extend it, promoting cultural, sports, leisure, gastronomic, and nature offerings.
Tourist information offices handled a total of 2,914 inquiries in August. The office at the Interpretation Center of Wine and Salt received 1,657, the Novo Sancti Petri office 405, and the information point on La Barrosa beach, 852.

"It is very important that tourists visiting our town do not just stay in the coastal hotels, but also take an interest in other aspects of Chiclana such as the center, its monuments, leisure offerings, restaurants, and natural spaces."
Manuela Pérez highlighted the work of municipal technicians in improving services and encouraged tourists to explore Chiclana's city center, monuments, leisure options, restaurants, and natural spaces.
