The event, starting at 9:00 PM, will include a parade through the city center commencing at 8:30 PM from the Anfiteatro de la Alameda del Río. The municipal delegate for LGTBI, Fede Díaz, announced lineup changes due to artists' prior commitments.
The opening address, or Pregón, will be delivered by actor Raúl Tejón, known for his activism in defending LGTBIQ+ rights. Performances by Imperio Reina and Nacha la Macha will follow. A Drag contest, with an extended registration period, will also take place, hosted by Pol John. Collaborating associations will have information stands.
Fede Díaz explained that intensive efforts were made to reorganize the event as soon as possible, thanking the artists for their flexibility. "We thank Raúl for accepting to give the Chiclana Pride opening address despite the short preparation time," he stated.
The area's representative also thanked Nacha La Macha for her continued commitment to Chiclana and singer and drag artist Imperio Reina for joining the lineup. "We were clear that we would not leave Chiclana without its Pride Festival and that it would be celebrated as soon as possible," said Díaz, emphasizing the event's significance for the municipality.
The Pride Festival will conclude a Pride Month filled with diverse events, both celebratory and activist in nature. The LGTBI delegate expressed gratitude to all individuals and entities involved in organizing Pride Month, including the Asociación Levantera.
