The exhibition, marking the first time Daniela Martínez has held a solo show at the Museum of Chiclana, features her most personal work under the concept of 'kintsugi', a 15th-century Japanese artisanal technique that does not hide the breaks in pieces but integrates them as part of the artwork.
Thus, 'kintsugi' becomes a metaphor for life, inviting reflection on how cracks, breaks, and intervened fragments can be revealed and emphasized, rather than concealed. The exhibition offers a simple yet refined plastic work that tacitly and unpretentiously prompts thought on accepting pain, failure, or wounds.
