The scientific meeting will feature a high-level program with presentations by national and international specialists on clinically relevant topics such as bronchiectasis, COPD exacerbations, precision medicine for severe asthma, and new strategies for smoking cessation. A lecture on the importance of a positive and resilient approach to the medical profession will also be included.
Among the invited professionals are prominent figures such as Dr. David de la Rosa Carrillo, president of the Spanish Society of Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR); Dr. Juan José Soler Cataluña; Dr. Mina Gaga, director of the 1st Department of Respiratory Medicine at Hygeia Hospital and member of the WHO Europe standing committee; Dr. Rocío T. Martínez Núñez, from King’s College London; and Dr. Luis Gutiérrez Rojas, a Psychiatry specialist from the Health Technology Park of Granada.
The scientific organization is led by a broad committee of professionals, including J. Gregorio Soto Campos, Francisco Carboneros de la Fuente, Francisco Pérez Grimaldi, Carmen Cabrera Galán, Aida García Cuesta, Rocío Carmona García, M. The program will commence at 9:00 AM with the distribution of materials and the official inauguration. The morning will be dedicated to the scheduled lectures, followed by a summary of conclusions and a working lunch. In the afternoon, various expert meetings will take place to facilitate the exchange of experiences.
