The incident occurred around 2:20 AM when flames from a vehicle parked on Chopo street, near the Municipal Cemetery, alerted local residents. The swift response from the Local Police and the Provincial Firefighters Consortium was crucial in preventing the fire from spreading further.
As a result of the fire, the affected car was completely destroyed. A second vehicle parked next to it sustained significant damage, affecting its hood and engine. A third car also suffered minor damage and was able to be moved by its owner.
