The PSOE of Cádiz held an event in Puerto Real to contrast the central government's management, which has boosted local industry, with that of the Andalusian government, accused of neglecting public healthcare.

At an event held in Puerto Real, the Secretary General of the PSOE of Cádiz and the Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, along with other leaders, presented two opposing government visions for the upcoming Andalusian elections. Socialists praised the work of the central government, attributing to it the industrial recovery of the Bay of Cádiz, while harshly criticizing the Junta de Andalucía's management of healthcare.
The leader of the Cádiz socialists emphasized Puerto Real's character as a "left-wing municipality," expressing the party's aspiration to surpass results obtained in previous elections. He highlighted that the central government's management model, with the support of the SEPI, has led to the highest historical workload in shipyards, mentioning strategic programs and orders from the Ministry of Defense, as well as investment in wind energy.

"We are clear that there is a model that delivers: that of the party leadership and SEPI, which has allowed for the largest workload in the history of the shipyards."

Furthermore, data was presented that, according to socialists, refutes opposition criticisms, pointing to a significant reduction in unemployment in Puerto Real, with over 1,600 people finding jobs, representing a decrease of more than one-third of unemployment since the previous period. This management has been described as a "clear commitment to a model of progress."
In contrast, the PSOE denounced the Andalusian government's "null service record" in the province, accusing it of dismantling public services, creating long waiting lists in healthcare, and failing to fulfill promises in Puerto Real. The situation of the regional hospital was particularly criticized, where a promise to expand the ICU made in 2018 has yet to materialize.

"If an Andalusian does not want to wait eternal days to see a doctor, if they do not want to see relatives die waiting for dependency care, or if their children's opportunities depend on their bank account, the only solution is the PSOE."

the federal Organization Secretary
The federal Organization Secretary insisted on the existence of a real alternative led by the party leadership, stating that "there is a game to be played, and socialists are going out to win it." She warned about the risks of right-wing policies, identifying the PP and Vox parties as synonymous with "cuts and setbacks." She concluded by calling for participation in the polls, emphasizing the importance of choosing between collective well-being and the interests of a few.
Socialists are confident that mobilization in the Bay of Cádiz will be key to reversing the current management model and consolidating reindustrialization policies aimed at improving the province's employment situation.
