The municipal Delegate for Women, Mari Ángeles Martínez Rico, visited the Rancho del Novo facilities to learn about the ‘Corresponsables Chiclana’ program. She was accompanied by the establishment's manager, Rafael López.
Martínez Rico emphasized the project's significance, currently serving nearly a hundred children. "This play center is essential for working mothers to leave their children completely free of charge, thanks to this subsidy," she stated. The hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Sunday, in a natural outdoor setting.
The Delegate for Women reported that places are still available, encouraging families to take advantage of this opportunity provided by the Chiclana City Council. Efforts are underway to ensure the play center operates year-round, especially during children's holidays.
Rafael López expressed gratitude to the City Council for their trust in this work-life balance project, highlighting its importance for families, particularly those whose parents work in the tourism sector, within a natural environment.
The initiative is a play center for minors aged 3 to 16 years, and up to 21 years for those with functional diversity, aiming to foster family co-responsibility. It focuses on equality through recreational activities and workshops during non-school periods and weekends.
The ‘Corresponsables Chiclana’ project aims for the integral development of students, promoting learning, coexistence, and well-being in an egalitarian and participatory environment.
