The Councilor for Sports, Francisco José Miranda; the tournament director, David Heredia; and the vice-president of the Martos Tennis Club, Luis Gallardo, have presented the event's details. Miranda highlighted that Martos is once again hosting a high-level sporting event, emphasizing the continuous improvement of municipal sports facilities.
The tournament will take place next week, with morning and afternoon sessions, culminating in the final phase on the 8th. David Heredia noted that it is the third most important tennis event in the province and is played on "Jaén's best courts." It is registered within the IBP circuit and the Spanish Federation, serving as preparation for players aiming for the international circuit and the ATP, due to its high level and the cash prizes it offers.
For his part, Luis Gallardo, from the Martos Tennis Club, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the various entities in the province of Jaén for the success of such events.
