The mayor of Jaén, Julio Millán, and the councilor for the Economic area, Francisco Lechuga, held a technical meeting at the request of the businessmen from this industrial park, who urgently required this service which they had lacked until now. Accompanied by municipal technicians, they resolved doubts and issues related to the supply, the provision of which guarantees quality work in the industrial and service area.
"Having potable water from the municipal network guarantees greater normalization in the business activity of this area of Jaén from now on, a service that is also extended to essential municipal facilities located in this same area," states Lechuga.
The works run from Avenida de Arjona and cover more than three kilometers to supply potable water to this area of the city through municipal and Provincial Council funds. Francisco Lechuga and the technicians explained the development of the work to the businessmen, which has allowed the installation of a pipeline that continues previous work and has now added a new route of 1,370 linear meters with a 150-millimeter polyethylene pipe for supply to the municipal waste treatment plant, and which in turn allows services to be provided to adjacent spaces, specifically, to this industrial and service area where no less than 300 people work each day, not counting visitors.
