The Municipal Sports Board has announced that all available spots for the thirtieth edition of the Jaén Half Marathon and the 10K race in memory of Paco Manzaneda have been filled. For the longer distance, 2,500 bibs were initially offered, later increased to 2,800 due to the rapid demand, while the 1,000 bibs for the 10K were also sold out.
This participation success represents a significant increase compared to the previous edition, with 154% more for the long distance and 56.25% for the short one. The Councilor for Sports, Beatriz López, highlighted that this is the first time in history that all registrations for both events have been sold out, reflecting the excellent moment for athletics in Jaén and the growing interest in these races.

The Jaén Half Marathon will feature a new, homologated single-lap circuit. The 10K race also presents a renewed course, which will allow for official time accreditation for the upcoming International Urban Race Noche de San Antón.
Among the new features, new cash prizes have been introduced for the top three overall finishers in the half marathon (300 euros for first place, 200 for second, and 100 for third), as well as for the winners of the category for people with disabilities. The remaining categories of the half marathon and the top three finishers of the 10K will receive trophies.
Participants who complete the half marathon will receive a bib reservation for the “San Antón” 2027. The event is sponsored by Caja Rural de Jaén, Diputación Provincial, and Construcciones Calderón, with the collaboration of Dorsal Go!.
