The Jaén town will host from this Friday, July 10, to Sunday, July 12, nearly one hundred young athletes from different parts of Spain, including Canary Islands, Madrid, Castilla y León, Barcelona, Valencia, and Andalusia, in addition to four or five local teams.
The tournament will be held in the Olympic Frontenis and Paleta Goma modalities, in both male and female categories, further establishing Torredelcampo as a benchmark venue for national sports events.
Pedro Cazalla, the Open's director, highlighted the enthusiasm for offering the best possible tournament and the arrival of participants and their companions since yesterday.
Gloria Civantos, the Councilor for Sports, emphasized Cazalla's work in promoting frontenis and the prestige of the municipal facilities, inviting the public to enjoy the high level of competition.
The event's celebration will provide a significant social and economic boost to the municipality, reinforcing the City Council's commitment to grassroots sports and promoting Torredelcampo beyond its borders.
