The Councilor for Festivals of the Martos City Council, Ana Matilde Expósito, has announced that the application period for fair stall space is now open. This call is aimed at hospitality professionals, brotherhoods, associations, or local entities wishing to participate in the event's organization, with the objective of "undertaking the distribution of plots in the fairground".
The deadline for submitting applications is next Friday, July 24, 2026. Interested parties must submit their requests at the General Registry of the Martos City Council, located at Calle Franquera, or through the municipal electronic headquarters. After this period, no new applications will be accepted.
Following the allocation of plots and once the established requirements are verified, the necessary documentation will be requested for the granting of authorizations for occasional or temporary public establishments. The required documentation includes the civil liability insurance policy, proof of Social Security and Economic Activities Tax registration, food handler's card, low-voltage electrical installation certificate, and payment receipts for fees and deposits.
The instruction for granting these authorizations details an exhaustive list of requirements, which also includes the payment receipt for the public domain occupation fee, the issuance of a license, and a deposit of €200 to cover municipal infrastructure, in addition to any other documentation deemed appropriate according to current legislation.
