The meeting, convened by Mayor-President Emilio Torres Velasco, includes on its agenda the approval of minutes from previous sessions held on May 28 and June 25, 2026.
The resolutions part will cover proposals from the Commission for Finance, Heritage, and Accounts, including the approval of remuneration for the water supply, sanitation, and wastewater treatment service concessionaire for 2025, as well as differences in water and energy purchases from SOMAJASA. Budget modification files through credit supplement and extraordinary credit for 2026 will also be discussed. The annual summary report of internal control and fiscal acts by the Local Government Board will be presented.
The Presidency Commission will present modifications to the economic and social agreement and collective bargaining agreement for the municipal civil servants and workers, affecting both Article 33 and retirement bonuses. Furthermore, the dissolution and liquidation of the Consortium for the Development of the Province of Jaén will be proposed.
Additionally, the Citizen Security Commission will submit for approval the annual rectification of the corporation's municipal inventory for 2025 and the modification of the internal regulations for the Martos Municipal Cemetery for 2027.
The second part of the session, non-resolutive in nature, will focus on the control and oversight of the government team's management, including mayoral resolutions, requests, and questions.
