The educational center, which has been part of the elite of Spanish vocational training since 2022, has been recognized for its specialization in the Automated Manufacturing sector. During the visit, officials toured the facilities, including the mechanical manufacturing workshop, the collaborative robotics classroom, and areas dedicated to additive manufacturing.
The institution maintains close collaboration with the business fabric in the plastics, electronics, and automotive sectors. This strategic alliance allows the center to achieve an 80% job placement rate, establishing itself as a key technological engine for the Jaén region.
This center symbolizes the philosophy of the new Vocational Training: innovation, sustainability, and a total connection with the needs of companies.
Among the highlighted projects, the institute presented social impact initiatives, such as the development of breast prostheses using 3D printing that incorporate thermal sensors. Additionally, circular economy projects were showcased, where industrial waste is transformed into precision parts, demonstrating the technical capacity of students and faculty in professional fields such as Informatics, Electricity, and Mechanical Manufacturing.
