The Civil Guard has dismantled a drug dealing and distribution point in Jamilena, Jaén, arresting two people and preventing the potential distribution of drugs during the San Isidro Pilgrimage.
Agents from the Investigation Area of the Main Post of Martos, in collaboration with the Civil Guard Post of Jamilena, have dismantled a drug dealing and distribution point in the Jaén town. The operation concluded last Thursday, May 7, with a search of a residence, where two individuals were arrested for alleged drug trafficking.
The detainees include a 48-year-old man, the property owner with a history of drug trafficking, and a 17-year-old minor, allegedly involved in the distribution of the substances. The investigation began after agents received information about continuous drug sales activity at the property, which had caused social alarm among residents due to the constant flow of people.
During the search, agents seized 3,700 grams of marijuana, 362 grams of hashish, 80 grams of cocaine, 500 grams of MDMA, and 127 grams of THC-infused gummies. Substances for cutting and manipulating drugs, precision scales, and approximately 6,000 euros in cash, divided into various denominations, were also confiscated. Additionally, several airsoft guns, knives of different sizes, mobile phones, and documentation related to the investigated activity were found.
The proceedings, along with the detainees and the seized items, have been handed over to the competent judicial authority, which has ordered the provisional imprisonment of the main suspect.
