The Youth and Festivities departments of the Ayuntamiento de Villa del Río have shared images of the first 'Gran Suelta de Vaquillas' (Great Release of Young Bulls), held at the Plaza de Toros as part of the Villa del Río Fair and Festivals 2026 program.
The day began early with the Charanga «La Pachanga», which paraded through the fairgrounds, filling the streets with music and a festive atmosphere until reaching the bullring. Once there, residents, young people, and visitors enjoyed a morning marked by tradition and fun, in one of the most anticipated events of the festivities.

The Festivities department expressed gratitude for the collaboration of Civil Protection, Local Police, and Civil Guard personnel, as well as healthcare assistance. The Local Volunteer Civil Protection Group of Villa del Río facilitated access to the Plaza de Toros for individuals with reduced mobility.
