Following the celebration of the 34th «Ciudad de Villa del Río» Swimming Trophy 2026, the traditional award ceremony took place. The event, marked by competition, effort, and sportsmanship, brought together swimmers who demonstrated their passion for swimming at the facilities of the Municipal Summer Pool.
The final club standings placed Club Natación Navial in first place, followed by Club Natación Puerto Real and Club Natación Villarrense. The participants delivered a great spectacle, delighting the present audience.
The award ceremony served to recognize the work of the athletes and clubs in this edition, which is part of the official calendar of the Andalusian Swimming Federation (FAN). The medals were crafted by the Dibujando Huellas VDR Association, with proceeds destined for animal rescue and care, thus uniting sport and solidarity.
The Villa del Río City Council expressed gratitude for the involvement of the Club Natación Villarrense as the organizer, as well as the collaboration of various entities: the City Council's Sports Department and Service, the Regional Ministry of Culture, Historical Heritage, and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía, the Sports Delegation of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, the Andalusian Swimming Federation, collaborating companies, staff, volunteers, and all individuals who contributed to the success of the competition.
The council congratulated all participants for making possible another significant day for swimming in Villa del Río, reaffirming its commitment to sports, community, and sporting values.
