Participants embarked on a journey through the universe to understand how a solar eclipse occurs, the roles of the Sun, Earth, and Moon, curiosities surrounding the astronomical phenomenon, animal reactions during an eclipse, and the importance of safe observation.
The day concluded with a creative workshop where children colored a model of a solar eclipse to take home as a souvenir, sparking their interest in science and astronomy in a fun and participatory way.
The Villa del Río City Council thanked the Summer Camp Children 2026 and their monitors for their visit and the enthusiasm they showed during this space adventure.
