The Urban Planning department of the Villa del Río City Council has reported that the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda is currently carrying out cleaning work in the Cañetejo stream bed and its surroundings near the bridge over the A-4 highway. These actions were initiated following a request from the local council.
These initial tasks will continue over the coming days. Subsequently, the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation (CHG) will conduct further intervention in the stream, within its jurisdictional responsibilities.
The Villa del Río City Council has expressed its gratitude to the Ministry for the ongoing work and to the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation for the upcoming planned action.
The Local Police have urged drivers using the service road to exercise extreme caution, particularly during the mornings of the next few days. They warn that traffic may be temporarily interrupted due to these maintenance activities.
