The Bujalance City Council has formalized its adhesion to the Municipal Archives Portal project, an initiative by the Provincial Council of Córdoba aimed at centralizing and digitally disseminating the historical documentation of the province's municipalities.
In this initial phase, the municipality has contributed 65 files, including Chapter Minutes dating from 1624 to 1892. These historical documents will allow residents and researchers to consult the socioeconomic, political, and cultural evolution of the town easily and from any device.
With the commitment to continue preserving and democratizing access to its documentary heritage, the City Council has applied to participate in a new call from the Provincial Council of Córdoba. The goal is to proceed with the digitization of more historical funds from its municipal archive to gradually make them available to everyone on this new portal.
